![]() The Black Widow Band is a hard -hitting eight-piece band
that has been featured in many clubs in the tri-state area.
They play the blues with a lot of soul and funk, along with many Motown favorites. The band has played behind such greats as Otis Rush and Lowell Fulson. They have shared the stage with The Average White Band and have opened up for the great blues legend B.B. King at the Count Basie Theater in Red Band, NJ. Some of the local clubs they played are The Stanhope House, Jason's, Old Bay, Crossroads, Downtown Cafe, Havana Bar, La Bar Bat and Pattenburg House. They have performed in many Festivals over the years, Waterloo Village Wine Festival. The Crawfish Festival, Mayfair Festival, Knowlton Riverfest, Long Branch on the Beach, Riverfest in Red Bank. The Black Widow band formed and managed by Larry Lacasta Norman from Passaic NJ
has been together in many forms since the 70's
